As machine vision grew, Automated Imaging Association emerged as another sponsor in the 1980’s. Motion Control Association, the third sponsor, is a fast-growing trade group founded less than a year ago to address the needs of advanced mechatronics for motion control. Operating under one roof, these trade associations represent corporate members that make, use and influence the future for robots, vision and motion control.
