Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 

2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Keys to Success Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Automation Technologies Council, Robotic Industries Association, Automated Imaging Association, Motion Control Association, and associated advertising and promotional agencies, immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win. 

3. How To Enter. The Sweepstakes begins at 10:30 a.m. June 12, 2007, and ends at 1:30 p.m., June 14, 2007. Entry forms consist of die-cut, key-shaped forms distributed at the International Robots & Vision Show. No photocopies or facsimiles permitted. In order to enter, each participant must completely fill out the information required on the official entry card (including name, company, address, city, state, zip, phone, fax and e-mail), answer the questions on the card, and submit it in person at booth 1771. Only one entry per participant is permitted. The International Robots & Vision Show reserves the right to verify that the winner is qualified and entitled to receive the prize. All entries become the property of the International Robots & Vision Show and will not be returned.

4. Prizes and Odds. The Grand Prize winner receives a Segway i2 PT (ARV: $5,145). Second place receives a TomTom ONE GPS navigation system (ARV: $300). Third place receives a Guitar Hero 2 controller and game plus a Playstation 2 game console (ARV: $210). Daily prizes include 10 $50 gas gift cards and two Lighting STR RC 1/10 scale “nitro gas” powered cars (ARV: $169). Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. 

5. Winner Selection: Daily prize drawings for the gas gift cards and RC cars will occur during the International Robots & Vision Show at booth 1771 at or around 4:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, June 12 and Wednesday June 13. On Thursday, June 14, the drawing will be at or around 2:00 p.m. for the remaining daily prizes and the Segway i2 PT, TomTom ONE and Guitar Hero/Playstation 2 prize packs. Claimants will be required to provide their name, address, telephone number and Show badge. (All times are Central unless stated otherwise.)

6. Winner Acceptance. Contestants need not be present to win Keys to Success Sweepstakes prizes. All taxes related to the value of the prize are the responsibility of the winners.

Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) prior to delivery of the prize. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation the Internet, or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. 

7. Prize Transfer. Winners who are present must take receipt of their prize and arrange all shipping and handling whether domestic or international. Exceptions include:

Grand Prize – Up to $500 in shipping costs for delivering the Segway i2 PT to the winner will be covered by the International Robots & Vision Show.

Other Prizes – Standard USPS or Ground UPS shipping costs are covered within the 48 contiguous United States for the TomTom ONE and Guitar Hero/Playstation 2 prize packs to winners not present at the drawing. Winners are responsible for all other shipping costs, or can forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.

All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner and confirm shipping details. If no response is forthcoming within one week of attempted contacts, the International Robots & Vision Show reserves the right disqualify the winner and at its discretion select a new one.

7. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. 

8. Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. 

9. Sponsor. The Keys to Success Sweepstakes is sponsored by Automation Technologies Council in conjunction with the International Robots & Vision Show. The decisions of the Sponsor regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
